Most import problems trace back to a decision made before the first order: choosing a supplier on price alone. A structured audit — on site or by video — answers the questions that determine whether your program runs smoothly.
Legal and export status. Business licence, export rights and a verifiable company identity.
Capability match. Does the factory make what you need in-house (welding, powder coating, board machining, upholstery) or outsource critical steps?
Capacity versus your volume. Ask for monthly output evidence and current order load — you want a supplier that is busy but not overloaded.
Equipment and automation. A look at the actual line tells you more than a catalogue.
Quality system. Dedicated QC staff, in-process checks, testing equipment and documented procedures.
Certifications and test reports relevant to your market.
Export experience. Which markets, which references, and can they share contacts or case details?
Engineering support. Can they read drawings, propose improvements and handle OEM requirements?
Communication. Response time and clarity during the audit predict how the order will go.
Request a live video walkthrough, not a polished marketing video — ask to see specific areas on request.
Use a third-party inspection agency where distance prevents a visit.
Place a trial order and evaluate the packaging and documentation, not only the product.
Visit during production of your own order if possible; that is the real test.
Vague answers about capacity, lead times or who makes each component.
Refusal of a video tour or sample-order trial.
No test reports, no references and prices far below the market.
Slow, incomplete responses once the audit gets specific.
We welcome audits and factory visits, and provide documentation for third-party inspections. Contact us to arrange a tour or to discuss your program requirements.
